One Minute Mug Cake

One minute to make. One minute to bake. I ate this high protein mug cake nearly every day while losing 75 pounds because it kept me full for hours and helped keep my sweet tooth at bay. Give it a try!

Ingredients

1 egg

2 TBSP maple syrup

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use vegan!)

TBSP almond flour (or oat flour)

TBSP cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup almond milk

Piece of dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased ramekin and place piece of dark chocolate in center and cover. Cook in microwave for one minute (check it and add a little more time if necessary), top with some fresh fruit and enjoy it as a complete breakfast or if you’re a volume eater like me, pair with some eggs and a salad for a balanced breakfast or lunch!
